Good evening all.

Before you guys get scared, let me preface this thread by saying: the site isn't being shut down... neither am I dying, or going off the deep end. LOL

I just felt like getting a couple of things out there... so here goes.

My business. My baby. A community I built with your help...an entity dear to me.

I say all of this to lead to my point: I would love to see it here 10 years from now... maybe more? Who knows?

I would love to see it expand and grow as I know it can. I would love to see it take on different forms: expanding into a larger family... us guys and gals meeting up to hang out in different countries... having reunions... training together... all kinds of stuff.

Heck, I *will* see all of that happen.

To do so however, I've got to step back from the social aspect of the community... and step up the work behind the scenes. The tension headaches that I suffered with for number of weeks leading up to me posting this thread brought me to this realization: I'm only one person.

The core (workng with clients, advertising, content management, networking, coding et. al.) needs to be continually strengthened...so, that's what i'll be focusing on.

I realize that when I step into the shadows to push the administrative parts of the site(s) harder, activity here drops.

I understand that this, being that NARKside, is a place built around me... so I can't fault members from posting less when I'm not here busting Tommy's balls... or exposing Booz's sordid sex secrets.

However, I would like that (this time) you guys keep busting Tommy's balls for me.

I'll still be around.

But... I may not be the biggest postwhore for a while.

I don't think many people got what I was saying with this post... so I'm going to bump it...and extrapolate further.

I *will* be around. I *will* be working behind the scenes.

Any absence on the frontend isn't me 'not caring about my site anymore'... it is me working on the backend, trying to make the NarkSide a self-sufficient entity.

As I've said many times in the past, this requires the help of all... not just me posting/writing articles, and answering the majority of the questions, but all members chipping in to maintain the depth of the conversation here.
