I think it buys happiness to a certain extent. If you can have the money to buy the things you want and keep your bills paid, you'd be happy, I know I would. I think it's all about what you want and how you view things

I'm not saying that you could literally buy happiness, but you could buy important and meaningful things that could actually make you happy.

Having a decent and comfortable house can make you happier than living in a slump area. Having a nice car could make things happier because it's better than using an old, rusty, jacked-up car.

There's a stereotype that states that rich people are not happy. I believe that's false because rich people could be happy if they have the right mindset and they prioritize the things that actually make them happy.

So to summarize, you could be happy by buying things that could actually bring you that happiness.
