Neither's 'better' IMHO.
I work 17-20 hours per day most days... so I train whenever i can get it in. Some days it's at 4:30 a.m. Some days it's in the afternoon... sometimes I'm out on the road at 2:30 a.m. pulling cars, crawling, or otherwise doing conditioning work. Sometimes it's late at night. I just get it done. |

Agreed. If I can get an earlier workout, I will. If not, I'll take the later one. Whichever. :)

^^ yes thats why it varys.
for me when i wasnt working i trained about 1030am. but now that i am working im training 430pm. and im happy with both. for most. you dont have much of a choice due to work, family and other commitments

I like to workout in the morning, seem to have more energy, get pretty worn down during the day.

I cant workout in the morning, I dont feel fully awake. So I do it after work around 6-7 pm.
I workout in the morning and night with my GF ![]()

For a bunch of years I trained in the morning and it worked well, now I train in the evening and it works just as good.
I have read some stuff that claims that its not good to do heavy compound movements in the morning because the discs of the spine are extremely well hydrated after sleeping. The pressure within then is then much higher when under load and one should wait 2 hours after waking up before deadlifting heavy. But not sure how much it really matters. |

i used to train in the afternoons around the 2pm mark,i felt very energized as id had several meals in me already and i hated working out in the mornins as at most i only had my 1st meal of the day..................
now i train early and afternoons,ive got used to trainin early.............
