I have been intrigued by Mike Tuscherers ideas for a while and recently picked up his book and started reading through the book and his articles. He has developed a system for how to rate RPE (rate of perceived exertion) and how to regulate volume based on his idea of fatigue %. The fatigue % is really unlike anything I have seen before and very clever.
These three articles explains the concepts and how to apply them.

A sample of how a program might look like under Tuscherer can be found here.

He has a rather "Russian" approach to training with a great emphasis on the main 3 lifts and close derivatives of it and almost no other lifts what so ever. Squatting, deadlifting and benching multiple times a week is where it is at and one or two workout dedicated to rows and abs and conditioning.
The whole idea with RPE and fatigue % can be applied to any program though and not only to his programming ideas regarding powerlifting.
Anyway I decided my main three lifts has been stalled for long enough so I jumped into his coaching service, going to be interesting to see a brand new perspective on things!

I am really hungry to break my several years old PR's and this year it will fucking happen.
