I'm currently on a four day split. So would you workout four straight days and have three off or have a day break in between .....example workout Monday skip Tues workout wed .....

Personally it depends on what style of training I'm doing, and what phase of dieting I'm in. Also, by 'rest day' do you mean a day of doing absolutely nothing... or do you mean a day of light cardio?

A day with no lifting probably with light cardio cause Ive gotta shed some pounds haha

Then I would rest EOD personally. Do cardio in between training days.

I tend to have a routine and the days for training. My rest days are strictly for rest and nothing else, meaning not playing any ball or exercising. It's better to get a routine and stick t o it.
