Today was mildly interesting.

Food prep was completed in a timely fashion. Meals eaten at appropriate intervals.

Felt tired coming down to the allotted exercise time- 5:30pm. May take my B vitamins before.

The gym wasn't what I expected but working out with friends is always better than not. It will suffice until I return to my own.

However vague that disappointment, nothing was worst than feeling my knee slip due to a faulty leg curl machine. Stupes... rangate. I was/am upset.

Next set- front squats with a bum knee.

Was still determined to do them. Lowered weight rather than abort... and did them. Not sure how my form was as I have some alignment issues that I'm working on.

Said leg actually went numb during the last set. My lady-like alter ego was like "Feet don't fail me now"... but in reality I was muttering "bitch your ass better not give out on me now and embarrass me." lol It worked.

However the weight I was pushing... baby weight. But I guess after 2 months of being incapacitated plus a bum knee... I shouldn't be too hard on myself. But I was and am.

Oh well.

Greater will be later.

I'm sure I did not make my macros as we came home to find that my uncle ate the protein prepared that he knew was not for him. He ate ours and left his. Well sah. So i'm here scrambling to find substitutes.

Guess I'll have to suck it up and purchase bim's expensive ass protein powders.

Sincerely displeased to hear about the uncle's lack of consideration.

Glad to see that you've started your template however.

So... i'm sipping my expensive ass shake and reflecting on today.

Woke up this morning stiff- morning glories had nothing on my body.Tried to step off the bed, leg buckled. Lo and behold- knee swollen and ankle numb on the same leg. Hmm ok whatever. Ice, stretches and breakfast.

Cardio which consisted of sprints, burpees, shuttle runs, lateral side steps did nothing to alleviate my stiffness.
To this hour- everything is as is from this morning.
Will do more stretches after I return home.

I think my body has become complacent. It's been almost 1 1/2 months since i've been on hiatus again for medical reasons and it feels like every time I am making a rebound I am knocked right back to square one. It is maddening, depressing and a little bit disheartening.

Tomorrow is squats and shit- sprints. I... hate... running. Jesus take the wheel. In fact just go with the whole dealership.

I enjoy leg days- squats and deadlifts, at least I did. I haven't remotely come close to what I was able to do last year. Maybe its mental, mayhaps physical. All i know is that before I leave I have to rectify my form, and at least be able to deadlift over 210lbs minimum 5 reps.

Lets end there lest I get annoyed with my body and eat a donut or something.

I'll post my meal for today a little later. When i've had the last one.

Today I did deadlifts and squats. I was mistaken on the sprinting. That's monday apparently.

I had to use the 15lb bar to do the deadlifts with because of a lack of weights that could fit the bar. I had to drop exceeding low to pull that weight. Isn't there like a minimum bar height because I swear that the bar was a little above my ankle.

On another note I have noticed an increase in my fatigue levels. During the workout I was tired and after completion I was so wiped. I think this fatigue may be contributed to the medications pumped into my system. It's one of the more prevalent side effects. Sigh.

I've just had my 3rd meal of the day.

So far I've had 2 shakes: Approximately 54g of protein. Will need to decrease that. One with strawberries and the other with peanut butter. Took chlorella & spirulina with it.

Baked chicken and stir-fry.

Next.... who knows, but right now I require sleep.

Today was POLE!!! Thank God it started back. We were on a break.

Well its official, my knee needs to heal. The bone was dislodged. Meh. Minor.

So I've made the executive decision to do my aunts template with her until I leave. For support and encouragement.

I will restart my template from Day 1 on the 25th of Aug- which should be a monday- but I will keep eating how the template says I should, so that I become accustomed.

Today I did we did her Day 3. Oh man. lol she's a trooper. At the end she was flat on her back but she did everything and if she did it half assed, she redid it.
