Default Proper squat workout

Stumbled upon this video (one of my favorite lifters) doing an epic squat workout

Start with an empty bar, do 20 reps, add 10kg(22.5 ibs), do 19reps, add 10kg, do 18 reps and so on. I guess one needs to squat a good bit over 500ibs to be able to complete that workout.

I gave it a go yesterday but with 5kg steps instead of 10kg. At 80kg I stopped the workout because my legs where crying. Hell of a thing.

Sounds good mate I may give that a go but will have to use the hammer squat as my back can't take freestanding

Done it twice now but only doing the even rep numbers, 20,18,16 etc. Started at 20 reps with 30kg and finished with 2 reps on 120kg.

Squatting is very difficult for some individuals, especially if you're over 6 feet. The longer your legs, the more difficult. First you need to get the proper technique down, then go as low as possible, without hurting your back. Parallel is good for most. Do enough work to really get a good pump and you should see results.
