Default 5 Steps To Get Lean NOT Skinny

Throughout the ages, it seems that the "sleek, slender, modelesque" figure has been "the prime image of beauty" in the eyes of most men and women, worldwide.
Whether it's the slender figures we've seen gracing our "beauty magazines", the "skinny-is-in trend" that seems to be demonstrated by our singers, actors/actresses and other celebrities, we seem to have been "tricked" into this fantasy that somehow, "skinny means better", even if it doesn't mean healthy .
Well, even if you had subscribed to this trend of thought, we're here to "snap you out of it!" It's better to be lean rather than skinny [/B], and here are five steps to take for you to get there!

TIP #1: Get STRONG not skinny!

It's important that in our journey to get into better shape, we must distinguish between "getting skinny", as opposed to becoming stronger and fitter . According to popular American health practitioner, Dr. Mehmet Oz, being frail can actually kill us , because our body is being robbed of the bulk of nutrients and strength that it needs, to fight the illnesses that are even present in the air!

STAY AWAY FROM WHITE/FLOUR-BASED FOOD!

You've probably heard of this tip before, but it's worthwhile in trying to "chase the pounds away", and also in asserting and affirming, through our lifestyles, the difference between "getting slim" and becoming lean and strong!
This is going to mean staying away from foods like breads, pasta, rice, sugar and flour. These foods aren't really helping us, because they're packed with empty calories , so if we stay away from them, that'll improve not only our physique, but our overall wellness and health.

GET SOME GOOD OLE BROCCOLI IN!

Perhaps broccoli wasn't your favorite food or vegetable when you were younger, but it's time that your palate grew as much as you did!
Broccoli is not only quite tasty when prepared the right way, but is FULL of nutrients and it actually performs the CRITICAL TASKS of: cleansing the liver and helping to fight cancer

GET INTO THE SUN DAILY!

As you've been told, it's good for us to get some sun into the scheme of things when it comes to doing what's best for our body, and ensuring that we have the requisite number of vitamins and minerals that exist naturally in the world.
Sun is the best source of Vitamin D , and can actually help to curb our appetite, helping the fat cells within us to become more active within our metabolism!

[B] DRINK MORE WATER [B]

Now, you may not favor drinking water that much, or you may not think that it's "as necessary as they say it is". BUT, those who've said it is important, are RIGHT!
Drinking a lot of water actually helps us to stay both healthy and energized , so that we can effectively engage in the right strengthening exercises that will carve us into the lean-mean fighting machines that we always wanted to become!

Let's lose the "skinny mentality", and gain strength of mind, soul AND body!

re: get strong... not skinny... This precept is difficult to sell to female clients in particular.

But, it's essential!
