So started my new program today.
Decided to aim for 80%-70% of my 1 rpm for 5 reps leaving a few reps in the tank as the program advises. So.... Bench> 120kg x 5 Milliatry press > 80kg x 5 Dead lift > 160kg x 5 Squat > 115kg x 5 Pull ups > BW x 8 Quite a quick workout but will see how or if I fatigue throught out the week. |

Yes mate. Was followed religiously when on template. Majority of time since then I have been a little sloppy. Still better than most but not as good as I want it. Got my motivation back so starting nailing it again.
This program I am following. 5 days will be high carbs. Come the weekend,should I drop all complex carbs and replace with fibrous carbs ? This was what I done on the template although it was only for 1 day. Would 2 days of no complex carbs be to much ? |

How's the 5 X 5 program going. How are you liking the effects of a power lifting program. I'm not much on power lifting as u always like lo the body building side as I guess I like the look better. I guess I'm a little vain.

Yeah mate,I'm quite enjoying it. It's just a little change for me at present really. Just going to run it through and see if it actually worked. I like the body building side also. Will be back doing that after this and focus on getting in proper shape for the summer :-).

Its going well mate. Feeling stronger in some lifts. I'm enjoying a little change for the time being but will be back proper bodybuilding after this. May run my template again as I feel I could have done slightly better. Even although target was met,their is always room for improvement.
