Bad news. Only gone and flared up an old injury again. For all I think I know about training,I really have so much to learn. I for some reason think that I can train heavy till failure for months on end without deloading. Really need to learn how to train in cycles for proper muscle growth. The injury could have been caused by millitary barbell press or cable pressdowns for triceps. I wouldnt say Im in pain but a lot of discomfort. The area affected is around my right bicep but is travelling around my shoulder also. Took a week off training and came back back tonight. Lowered the intensity and is still some slight discomfort but held up ok. Just need to watch what I'm doing for now.

For Nark...

Do you have any articles ect that explain how to train properly using deloading through out a training cycle. Not sure if I said that correctly lol. I'm looking for a long term program where I can train heavy then deload, heavy ect ect where I can push for some serious muscle growth but by staying injury free and giving my body adequate rest periods.

Easiest thing to do would be to deload once per month.

3 weeks heavy. One week light.
