What's the role of the fibrous carbohydrate in my programme? I'm missing the mark by about 5g per meal. I have to get accustomed to eating this amount of food

Also your body doesn't really digest fibrous carbs but your body burn calories trying. So if you eat 5 calories of fibrous carbs your body's burning 10 trying to digest it. Just a reference on the 2 to 1 ratio not actual.

lastly fibrous carbohydrates tend to fill out your stomach, increasing satiety, so you don't feel hunger in a caloric deficit (if you are in one)
