Default How long do you meditate for?

l try to meditate for at least 20 minutes everyday and it really works for me, l try to meditate in the morning before l start my day and if l can't do it then l meditate before l go to bed so when l wake up my mind is fresh.

What's your purpose for meditating? I like the idea of it. Some people meditate for different reasons. For me, I meditate in morning for spiritual reasons. I think it's the best way to start your day and you feel so much better!

I used to meditate to relax before sleeping. Typically for 15 minutes but sometimes longer if I really got into it. Havent done it for a bunch of years now.

10 minutes are all I can. I just started 3 months ago, so I am not yet doing very much strong in meditating. I still find it very difficult. In fact those 10 minutes are my maximum, the longest I can keep up myself without me being destructed. I am working of having it longer though as I believe that meditation really offers many good benefits.

I usually do this in the morning when I have woken up and relax on my bed and think of the good things going for me in my life and also, it gives me a feeling of peace and try and get the negative thoughts out of my mind which can make the mind restless in the morning. It is something which can be nice and also it is something which can make a person think of the good things before going to sleep at night, which can be nice and make a person sleep more peacefully and be refreshed the next day which can make the day better. I reckon that it is good to do this for around 10 to 20 minutes and the mind can be relaxed as it will be a learning experience for people, and hope that many people try and do this in the mornings which can be easy and relaxing as well in the process.

I usually only do it for 10 minutes. I like to do it before I go to bed so that I can find peace within myself. Sometimes it has been a really stressful day then I will do 20 mins. I just find by clearing the mind I sleep better. It I don't take the time for myself I find I can't shut my mind down at night. I have been doing it for years.
