In relationships, do age differences matter?

We have a celebrity couple from here, the woman is aged 24 and the man is about 65. There are talks that the woman is just using the man for his money. They are married now though and only time will tell if the woman is indeed using the man for money.

But there really are some benefits to dating an older person. An older person might be more mature, independent and even financially stable. An older person might also be more invested in the relationship emotionally and mentally.

For me, age doesn't really matter as long as both parties are happy. I've never been in a relationship with that huge age gap though.

Interesting question.. I asked the same question on another board the now defunct UKI 4 years ago just before I embarked on a relationship with someone 31 years younger than me. If it doesnt matter to the 2 ppl concerned then no it doesnt matter at all. But it will matter to others be it total strangers, close friends, distant or immediate family. Really it depends on the age gap to how intense the reaction.

I think differences in age can matter, but it don't necessarily have to.
But I like older women than me.
