Default 4 Honey Health Hacks!
by HealthCraze 09-12-2014, 09:01 PM

Ever wondered if you could use honey in more ways than just...eating it?! Sure, honey is sweet , and we know that it's made from bees, but, what else is there?

You're gonna be positively surprised when you find out!

1. It can give you a good SHOT of energy!
Studies have shown that a spoonful or two of honey has the power to allow the body to make it through a tough and endurance-challenging workout, just as well as a sugar-pumped energy drinks, gels or shots, which we're used to relying on to get our energy level up!

2. It can provide RELIEF for your chapped lips
That's right, you can spare yourself the expense of purchasing the conventional "chapstick" for you to get the relief and smoothness you want, for your lips. You can make yourself your homemade chapstick using: sweet almond oil, beeswax, and honey, but don't get addicted!

3. Honey can kill a cough!
When you take in some honey, especially before bed, it's been proven that honey can effectively treat a cough or sore throat. It's possible that it can even rival the effectiveness of cough syrups! WARNING: please be sure not to give ANY honey to your kid if he/she is a year old or younger. Children at this age stand the chance of developing botulism if given honey.

4. It deals with DRY SKIN!
Honey, when applied to "dry patches" on our skin, provides the right amount of moisture needed to relieve and heal them, and it actually fights inflammation. What you should do is to apply the honey mixture to the affected area for 30 minutes , but make sure you wash it off right after! Before it gets too sticky, or before you head to a bee's nest or ant's nest.
