Default compartment syndrome

just curious as to what you guys know about this. i know it's a pretty god damn painful and serious condition, but recently i've started running again, and swiftly stopped. after about 10 minutes of running my calves are unreasonably sore, and this soreness lasts a good few days.

now the pain isn't actually in the bulk of the calf muscle its self, it's more around the soleus and the Achilles tendon.

i've always worked calves pretty hard because well, they're calves. but i've stopped for a while lets say 6 months. on monday i worked them again, no where near as much as i previously would have. and the doms yesterday and today are unbelievable. i'm used to mucle soreness, but this is out of this world. i can't stand up without cringing.

just curious as to what you guys know about this, experienced this? or anything similar. thanks

Phil
