The three exercises I have most problem thinking of a substitute for is bench, squat and deadlift. Pistols maybe instead of squats but pistols are not all that heavy, deadlift is impossible to substitute and perhaps bench can be replaced with various dip and push up variations. Maybe one arm pushups?

Anyone that can crank out rep after rep of controlled muscle ups is bound to have a pretty impressive upper body. Someone like Hannibal has very good upper body, but he doesn't seem to have have any calf development at all and I bet its the same for his upper legs.

I wonder if high jumps, pistol jumps, other different kind of jumps and sprints could develop the leg strength and size efficiently? Probably not because if it did high jumpers probably wouldn't spend so much time in the gym?
I was with you until you said rows with bodyweight rows

The three workouts I have most issue considering a alternative for is regular, go and lift. Guns maybe instead of the squat but pistols are not all that large, lift is difficult to alternative and perhaps regular can be changed with various dip and force up modifications.

I would say certainly, there are some pretty difficult variations of the simplest movements. as for legs... ever seen fat peoples calves? fucking huge. constant repetition and adaption. (granted they carry extra weight) I don't think you'd structure your program as you would weighted sessions, I.E chest day, leg day ect... I think volume and frequency would have to be where it's at.

You can get that look and fit with both styles of training. You have to be dedicated because these guys are on the top. Guys in prison have this look as well and their on a bad diet. I prefer free weights but at times, body weight training is a good way to mix things up.
